Ex-MP Fazle Karim arrested from B’baria border

Former lawmaker from Chattogram-6 ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury and two others were arrested from Brahmanbaria bordering area last night.Fazle Karim was wanted in several cases filed with different police stations in Chattogram, police said.
The two other arrestees are Abdul Hannan, general secretary of Swechchhasebak League’s Akhaura unit and former member of Akhaura South Union Parishad, and Naeem Chowdhury, a human trafficker.
A team of Border Guard Bangladesh arrested Fazle Karim as he was trying to cross the border illegally through Akhaura border, Sariful Islam, public relations officer of BGB confirmed it.
Hannan and Naeem were accompanying him.
